Philoptochos Holiday Bake Sale Success

Success! On Saturday, December 7, 2024, our St. Katherine’s Philoptochos held our second annual holiday bake sale. Many members provided traditional Greek pastries, Ukrainian specialties, and other authentic American sweets. Boxes contained a variety of cookies, even some gluten- and sugar-free, to help guests make easy choices. The day was mild and the foot traffic to the Civic Auditorium and Christmas Parade downtown brought guests to our doorstep. Hot chocolate with whipped cream and coffee were also available. The festive Narthex was inviting and traditional Christmas music filled the church. Many thanks for the bakers, the team who boxed the sweets, those who helped with sales, and finally, those who helped put our Narthex back together for Sunday services. If you missed the bake sale, there are several boxes of pastries available in the church hall for purchase. Once again, our mighty Philoptochos held a delicious fundraiser to enable our philanthropic efforts! Happy Holidays! Amin!
